The seminary was graced with the presence of the papal nuncio. He came for the Diamond Jubilee Celebration of Owerri Archdiocese, and he deemed it fit to visit the seminary community for the first time, also to celebrate with her the 40th anniversary of its establishment. The Archbishop of Owerri, Most. Rev. Dr. Lucius Ugorji, and the Bishop of Aba, Most. Rev. Prof. Augustine Echema were also present for the visit and celebration.
